Patients of knee replacement treatment can leave the hospital within 2 to 5 days depending upon the knee conditions and physical strength. Some complicated cases may require a stay for a week in the hospital. 

To resume activities, one must wait for at least six weeks after the surgery or as instructed by the orthopaedic surgeon. You should not ignore the instructions given by the doctor and follow them properly to recover soon and avoid complications.
